2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

Our voluptuous 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and vibrant. Bright aromas of red currant and lilac lead to deep, bold flavors of red cherry, juicy plums, and subtle hints of spiced cocoa. The long finish is subtle, but full with lingering oak nuances and polished tannins.

In the vineyard

The Cabernet Sauvignon grape ripens late and thrives in Eastern Washington's warm autumns and desert-like conditions. The delayed 2010 vintage produced phenolic ripeness and flavor development with extraordinary natural acidity.

Cabernet Sauvignon: 45% Pepper Bridge Vineyard (Walla Walla Valley); 33% Dionysus Vineyard (Columbia Valley); 22% StoneTree Vineyard (Wahluke Slope)

Malbec: 100% StoneTree Vineyard (Wahluke Slope)

Appellation Columbia Valley

In the cellar

Pepper Bridge Vineyard's low yields results in bold fruit with great ageability. Dionysus "Old Vines" produces intense, fully-ripened spiced fruit flavors. StoneTree Vineyard's warmer terroir brings deep impressive power. Dark, juicy Malbec contributes complex fullness.
