Every so often you discover a wine that takes your mind away from the everyday and magically transports you to a crisp Spring afternoon of relaxing in the sun of Provence. Our 2nd edition of Ambiance, a blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Orange Muscat, is again inspired by the white wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Each varietal brings unique characteristics to the wine to create a special atmosphere of pure enjoyment.
The crisp, full nose greets you with delicious aromas of orange peel, peach & honeydew melon. The Grenache Blanc brings great character with a spicy core, bright citrus and pretty acids. Then Marsanne contributes the powerful structure of this wine with kiwi, melon and hints of honey, while adding the dry Orange Muscat gives the wine refreshing balance and lush tropical fruits. Thanks to the neutral French oak this wine was aged in, our 2010 Ambiance is a full-bodied wine with gorgeous spirituality, beautifully balanced acids and an elegant, lingering finish!
Having an intimate celebration for two? Pair this wine with grilled mussels for the perfect "Ambiance." It is equally enjoyable for any night of the week with Lemon Roast Chicken, Prawn Fettuccini Alfredo or Grilled Baby Lobster Tail.
