2005 Late Harvest Gewurztraminer, Koinonia Vineyard (375 mL)
The nose on this beautiful wine is alive with a bounty of aromas. Floral nuances of orange blossoms and rose petals fill your senses, followed by peach, pear, lychee and lemon grass. Wonderful flavors of honeydew and apricot explode on the palate while sweet undertones of cotton candy and almonds provide a lingering finish.
Our 2005 Late Harvest Gewurztraminer has the pretty color of pale straw with gold nuances. Its sweetness delicately balanced by a crisp acidity makes it a wonderful food wine. Enjoy with spicy prawns on a bed of mixed greens, with a selection of cheeses or with a pear crisp for dessert. Whatever you choose to serve this wine with, make sure you have an extra bottle chilled. They are little and your company might just enjoy this nectar so much that they forget to share it with their busy hostess!
