2003 Pepper Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon
This is our very first vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon and is definitely a showstopper! Made from 100% Pepper Bridge Vineyard fruit in the Walla Walla Valley, it exhibits beautiful dark color with aromas of violets, chocolate and cedar. The flavors are complex with dense blackberries, chocolate covered cherries and loads of spice. This wine is beautifully balanced with plush, lively tannins and an incredibly long spicy finish. We kept this beauty hidden away a little longer than normal to ensure it had plenty of time to evolve into the stunning creation it was intended to be.
A great example of the fruit Walla Walla Valley produces. This Pepper Bridge Vineyard Cabernet is big, bold and definitely one you won’t soon forget. When it comes to pairing this wine with food, we tried it with a hearty Boeuf Bourguignon, and are still awed by the incredible flavors the wine and food brought together. For warmer weather and lighter fare, try a grilled steak salad with blue cheese crumbles or a burger with caramelized Walla Walla Sweet Onions.
