Ten miles south & west of Pepper Bridge Vineyard, the soils at Seven Hills Vineyard are predominantly  wind-blown glacial Loess that is geologically very young & mineral-rich.


Seven Hills Vineyard sits ten miles south & west of Pepper Bridge Vineyard on the edge of the Walla Walla Valley Appellation. The soils in this vineyard are predominantly Ellingfoord Silt loam, which is wind-blown glacial Loess that is geologically very young & mineral-rich. Water is pulled from the Hudson Bay Ditch & wells. The water is distributed through drip lines which are also used to spread compost "tea". Grapes are mostly grown on Smart-Dyson split-canopy trellis.
