Rand Sealey - Reviews Forgeron's 2007 Syrah

"The dark fruit flavors are well saturated, with undertones of scorched earth, minerals, dark chocolate & licorice."

"Deep ruby colored, this 100% Syrah from the Boushey Vineyard emits smoky, sultry aromas of raspberries, blueberries, garrigue, dried roses, rubbed sage and a hint of violets. The dark fruit flavors are well saturated, with undertones of scorched earth, minerals, dark chocolate and licorice. On the back, the dark fruits intensify, with notes of dried berries, roast coffee, roasted nuts, spices (cinnamon, coriander, clove) and a touch of crème brulee, followed by chewy tannins on the finish."  18.5/20 points
