Accolades for Façon Blanc / Ambiance

2013 Façon Blanc review from Wine Advocate

"...it offers lots of green apple, buttered citrus and green herbs to go with a medium-bodied, bright, fresh and elegant feel on the palate. It shows some classic Marsanne bitterness on the finish, and is a delicious white to drink over the coming couple of years."

Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate, June 2015

The 2013 Façon Blanc is a solid blend of 33% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 22% Viognier and 15% Marsanne that was mostly sourced from cooler sites in Yakima Valley (The Viognier was from Walla Walla). Brought up all in neutral burgundy barrels, it offers lots of green apple, buttered citrus and green herbs to go with a medium-bodied, bright, fresh and elegant feel on the palate. It shows some classic Marsanne bitterness on the finish, and is a delicious white to drink over the coming couple of years.
